Every Sunday we usually have two or three services. All are open to everyone to attend, but they each have a distinctive shape and nature.
At the moment however, all of these are suspended, with worship taking place online throughout the coronavirus outbreak.
1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month
8.30AM HOLY COMMUNION
A simple service of Holy Communion in modern language that lasts around 45-50 minutes with no music or singing.
A relaxed service which attracts the largest congregation, the 10.15am has a varying pattern across a month. We don't meet on the first Sunday of the month as 'Breakfast Church' happens then. On second and fourth Sundays we share Holy Communion. On other Sundays we gather to hear the Bible read and explained in a 'Service of the Word'. We sing a mixture of hymns and more recent songs and services last about an hour.
2nd and 4th Sundays
On the second Sunday of the month a simple service of Compline, or Night Prayer, with space for silence and reflection. We share Holy Communion together on the fourth Sunday. Services generally last about an hour, Compline often a little bit less.
HOLY COMMUNION ON WEDNESDAY AT 10.45AM
Similar to the 8.30am service on Sundays, a simple service which lasts around 45 minutes.
3rd Sunday of the month, 4-6pm
Messy Church is all about fun, food and following Jesus!
With a mixture of crafts and activities, people of all ages join together in exploring faith in Jesus, celebrating his love and enjoying a meal together.
1st Sunday of the month, 9am
The best way to start the day, the best way to start the month. A great cooked breakfast (cereals and toast also available), Celebration and learning together, then a chance to chat over tea (and coffee) and toast.
