This coming Sunday, 17 November, our Morning Worship service at 10am will focus on how we can ensure we care for and keep safe all those who are part of community. In the light of recent reports which demonstrate how the church has failed in the past to protect those vulnerable, this is especially relevant right now. Everyone is welcome, onsite or online.

Most weeks short services of Daily Prayer stream on Facebook on Fridays at around 9am.

If you're here because you've seen some of our streamed services and want to know more, welcome! If there is anything we can do to help, maybe there are questions this site doesn't answer, please do contact Richard, the Rector: richard@stpetersglenfield.org.uk

You can download the latest news sheet and the church magazine for November 2024 from the news page.

Safety check

St Peter's churchyard

As part of the handover now that the churchyard is closed, and to help enable mowing and maintenance, a safety check on headstones has begun in St Peter's churchyard. All the sections to the north of the church have been completed and notes taped to stones which require attention. If you're in the churchyard you will notice these, as well as the signs at either end of the path through to the new estate, indicating which stones are loose and caution needed.

Headstones are the property of the family that installed them, so as well as the notes we will be making efforts in the next few days to contact families to ask them to secure the headstones before further action is needed. However sometimes our records will be out of date, as people have moved etc. So if you can pass on the information to a family who may have moved for example, please do.
